there are times I want to get into an accident so I can change my view of life. I would never, could never, do that to myself and I never will. But sometimes I wish for it. For something to change my life, to give me the push I want and need. To change my point of view.

But it will never happen and I am stuck here.
Because wishes are another form of dreams, and dreams doesn’t come true.

Generally, if you have insurance, that would cover most of the medical costs, but you would still have to pay for some of it (I’m less sure about the actually prothesis cost however). There are some instances were the government would help - like for military vets.

It’s pretty complicated, so I’m not sure if or when someone else would qualify for help. Though usually the really poor can get government medical help, but I’m not sure if that would really make any difference in the cost of prosthesis.

I love KFP so much & I'll admit I'm obsessed w/ it. Sad things is: I can't share it w/ anyone I know (family/friends/others). I'm afraid of embarrassment. It's like a hard kept secret. When I watch Kung Fu Panda I catches myself looking the characters eyes or fur or mouths or fabric after a long time and since I love them all so dearly it just feels weird.

Like if I would talk to them irl and I end up staring at their lips and asdfghjklöä’ that’s the most embarrassing shit ever I am so sorry.
